    Description

    1874 Shield Nickel, Extremely Fine.  A nice original "grubby" coin.  Some of the Obverse leaves in the outer portion of the wreath and the "ball" at the bottom of the Shield are a bit weak, however this appears to be a hubbing issue as the date and stars are strong & bold.  Not terribly common.
