An absolutely beautiful 1876 proof shield nickel graded PR 66 Cameo by PCGS. This proof issue date is very seldom offered in this condition and holds a light attractive golden hued tone throughout both sides. A very appealing coin that has well earned it's grade from PCGS.
This proof issue date holds a mintage of 1,150. However, the PCGS Population Report shows there are only 28 coins in this grade level with only 19 graded finer! A date that is seldom offered in this high of a proof grade!
