AAFA EARLY FOLK ART ANTIQUE CABINET CUPBOARD OLD RED GREY PAINT SQUARE NAILS
Up for sale is this wonderful old wall cabinet or cupboard. It's a wonderful grey / red color. It has a single door and scroll top.  There are Shaker style hinges and a wooden thumb-turn spin latch.
The cabinet measures 27.25" H to the main part of the cabinet and 31
” H to the top of the scroll top x 19” W x 10.25” D.
There is a large hole in the scroll top probably from where it was hung on the wall.
The cabinet is old, but we don't know how old. It does have square nails in the back and we took a picture of some of them for you. They are all rusty but some of the nails are round also. The paint is old and crackled with grey on top with red and wood color undertones. The back of the cupboard is wood and it made from two pieces of wood (or one split one) and the gap between the two sides is pretty obvious as you can see in the pictures.
Inside there are two shelves, three sections total.  The inside is painted the similar grey with stains, streaks, edgewear, patina and obvious wear from use and age.
Please see the photos for an accurate detail and description.  The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones.  It's a nice old cupboard!!!
The paint has some edge wear, scrapes, patina, fading, variation of color, chipping, crackling, chips and nicks.
