NEW Intermediate Girl Scout Badge
1948-1954 "FOODS" (Canner)
Here is a  FOODS Badge in the BMG (Bright Medium Green) fabric that needed to be crimped under before attaching to sash or sleeve.  This badge was called CANNER originally, and changed to FOODS in the early 1940s.  It is one of the unusual badges that became more scarce as time progressed.
Girl became less adapt at sewing, canning, and other skills that were previously
essential
.   This is contradictory to the value of most badges.  This is in Excellent Unused Condition.  There is no fraying, no fading; it is very clean.  Please excuse my watermarks.  Other sellers have been infringing on my pictures and my wordage.
