This is a Baby Katelyn kit produced by the Kinby Doll Company, which is a sister company to Bountiful Baby.
These dolls were sculpted from the likeness of real babies, giving them realism. This kit features a vinyl head that is pre-painted, including the sweet molded hair, and full length vinyl arms and legs. The dolls have rings already installed in the flange of the head and limbs so they can be easily turned for posing. The lengthy, time consuming painting step has already been done and the hair has been painted, eliminating the need for the tedious process of rooting real hair, as well as the eyes being pre-set. The kits are a fun project to assemble with a favorite little girl on a rainy afternoon. We purchased a nice suede cloth
body to send with the vinyl kit, as well
as a Kinby bodysuit to dress her in when you have her completed. This little kit is
neat, because she can suck her thumb or accept a play bottle in her open mouth. This baby can wear most preemie real baby clothes.
