Nice Antique Rustic Adirondack North Carolina Wood Root Desk

Description

One of a kind and very hard to find for sure, rustic desk, possibly rhododendron root.  Made for a small person as it is 24" High 27"W 27D.  There is a photo of the maker inside.  Came from the North Carolina Mountains.  There is an oil cloth type covering on the lift lid which is original and finished with the same dark color as the rest of the desk.  Looks like the legs on one side have had a piece added to the bottoms of the feet to maybe level it out or something.  The way it was constructed, the legs are set at an angle but the desk is level.  Looks like the left side of the gallery brace is missing.  Please examine the photos carefully as they are an important part of the description and email with questions or additional photos.
